Depending on your income level, marital status and number of dependent children, you may be able to claim the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) up to $5,751. Households that earned up to $49,078 in 2011 may qualify to claim the EITC when filing a tax return.

Franklin County has applied for a $3-million grant from the Clean Ohio Revitalization Fund (CORF) for the environmental remediation and redevelopment of the former Dublin Road Landfill into a mixed-use office and retail project to be known as Grandview Crossing. The 36-acre property is northeast of the intersection of Grandview Avenue and Dublin Road, with 16 acres in Grandview Heights and 20 acres in Columbus.

The Greater Columbus Arts Council (GCAC), in association with the 200Columbus: The Bicentennial organization, has announced that a second round of grants is available to non-profit organizations to commemorate Columbus’ Bicentennial year and the role of neighborhoods in the shaping of Columbus’ past, present and future. Applications for the second round of grants are due on Wednesday, February 15, and must be sent electronically.
