The Franklin County Board of Commissioners, Treasurer, and Prosecuting Attorney have collaborated on a Homeowner Helpline. Calling First Link at 211 will connect you to a local non-profit housing counseling agency that can determine what type of help is best for you.
Franklin County Wins National Wellness Award
Beginning with the joint benefits committee, Commissioners recognized that wellness is both a quality of life issue and a cost containment initiative and have progressively moved more resources to wellness. The Franklin County Board of Commissioners started the Health and Wellness program two years ago with the goal of advancing the health and wellbeing of employees and improving the quality of their lives both at work and at home. This program’s #1 goal is to help our employees gain the knowledge, skills, and motivation needed to achieve and maintain a lifestyle that promotes personal health and wellness.
