LONG TIME EMPLOYEE INDICTED FOR THEFT FROM THE FLAG LADY’S FLAG STORE IN CLINTONVILLE

Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announces that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned an indictment against Angel Forsyth, age 37, for one count (F-1) Theft and one count (F-3) Tampering with Records, for a total of two counts. Forsyth was an employee at the Flag Lady’s Flag Store in Clintonville for over twenty years. Her position involved paying bills and managing accounts. It is alleged that between 2008 and 2011 she wrote checks to herself totaling $310,000 and covered it up by false entries in their accounting system. O’Brien said “This was a trusted employee who abused her position and used the money for her own personal gain.” If found guilty on these charges, the defendant faces in excess of five years incarceration”, O’Brien stated.

BOYFRIEND INDICTED FOR
MURDER OF 3 MONTH OLD BABY

Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announced that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned an indictment on Robert H. Robinson in connection to the December 30, 2011 death of 3 month old Zyanna Bruton. Robinson was the 26 year old boyfriend to Stephanie Bruton, age 25, who is the infant’s biological mother. Robinson has been indicted for one count of Murder (unclassified), one count of Felonious Assault (F-2), and one count of Endangering Children (F-2), for a total of three counts. Robinson was babysitting Zyanna and her siblings while his girlfriend was away from home. The baby died as a result of blunt force trauma to her head. Arraignment for Robinson is set for this Friday, January 13, 2012, at 1:30 pm in courtroom 2A at 345 S. High Street. |

AGGRAVATED MURDER INDICTMENT OF
NEW JERSEY MAN
Death Penalty Specification Included in Indictment

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announces that the Franklin County Grand Jury has returned a death penalty indictment on Daniel Teitelbaum, age 45, in connection to the March 10, 2011 murder of Paul L. Horn, age 54, that occurred in the victim’s Grove City apartment located at 3574 Gateway Lakes Drive. Horn owned Platinum Players Club at 3131 Broadway in Grove City and Celebrities Social Club at 5891 Scarborough Boulevarde on the east side of Columbus. Teitelbaum was indicted for one count of Aggravated Burglary with Specification (F-1), one unclassified count of Aggravated Murder with Specification, one unclassified count of Murder with Specification, and one count of Tampering with Evidence (F3), for a total of four counts.
Prosecutor Ron O’Brien has designated Assistant United States Attorney Deborah Solove as an Assistant Franklin County Prosecutor and she has been assigned with Assistant County Prosecutor Marla Farbacher to prosecute the case, which will be handled in State Court. The FBI, the Grove City Police and Solove worked the investigation of this crime. United States Attorney Carter Stewart and Prosecutor Ron O’Brien cited this case as yet another example of how their offices work cooperatively together to prosecute the most serous crimes. Arraignment for this death penalty case is set for Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at 1:30 pm in courtroom 2B at 345 South High Street.
