Ms. Tilgner joined the department in April of 1999. She served as the Health Commissioner for the City of Marion, Ohio from 1994 to 1999. She also served as Health Commissioner of Marion County between 1994 and 1996. Ms. Tilgner worked locally with the Columbus Health Department as an epidemiologist prior to her work in Marion. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Preventive Medicine from The Ohio State University, is an Ohio Registered Sanitarian and a Licensed and Registered Dietician.
