New School Required Immunizations -
Don't wait for the Back-to-School rush!

Ohio children who start kindergarten or the seventh grade this fall must meet new vaccination requirements. Kindergartners will need a second dose of chickenpox vaccine and the final dose of the polio vaccine. Seventh graders will now have to have a Tdap vaccination. These new requirements are in addition to the other required immunzations. Click HERE for full details.

Adult immunizations are also available at the clinic and vary in price according to the vaccine; however, international travel immunizations are not available

The community clinics are the same each month. Please be sure to bring your child's shot record with you to the clinic.  A completed consent form is required if a parent or legal guardian is not present at the clinic.

CDC’s Immunization Scheduler Makes It Simple to Catch-up on Kids’ Immunizations

To help parents and providers decide the best strategy for getting a child back on track after missing some vaccines at the recommended ages, CDC has released a cutting-edge web-based Catch-up immunization Scheduler. The Scheduler is a downloadable, easy-to-use tool to quickly find out what vaccines are needed and when to give them to bring children up-to-date according to the currently recommended schedule. Once the user has downloaded and entered information such as the child’s birthday and the vaccines the child has already received, the scheduler immediately provides a printable schedule. There are two options. You can select the “routine” schedule option that aims to keep dates for needed vaccinations as close the recommended ages as possible, or you can select the “accelerated” schedule option in which doses are scheduled as soon as possible according to current recommendations.

CDC's Adult Immunization Scheduler

Adults 19 years of age and older still need to keep up with their immunizations. The CDC has a web-based Immunization Schedule for adults to find out which vaccinations they need.
