Permitted Tattoo and/or Body Piercing Operations
in Franklin County

For a tattoo or body piercing establishment to receive a permit means that the Board of Health has approved a person(s) to operate a business that offers tattoo and body piercing services.  The Board of Health determines that the establishment meets the requirements of OAC 3701-09 (Tattoo and Body Piercing Rules).  The Board of Health inspects a tatoo or body piercing establishment before approval and inspects at least once each year. The permit is good from January 1 (or date issued) thru December 31st of each year.  (Updated 2/12/07)
