Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (Tdap) Booster Vaccine

It is recommended that all teenagers and adults receive a Tdap booster shot to protect against tetanus, dipheria and pertussis.

It is also the first vaccine to protect teenagers and adults against pertussis. History has shown that immunity to pertussis fades over time even if you received the vaccine as a child. As a result, as many as one million teenagers and adults in the United States are infected with pertussis each year.

The Franklin County Board of Health is pleased to offer the Tdap vaccination at each of our community clinic locations. Click HERE to view our clinic calendar.

The Tdap Booster is recommended for everyone ages 11 and up. For those ages 11 to 18 the cost will be $10. For those 18 years of age and older the cost will be $45. The $10 administration fee and the $15 assessment fee will be applied regardless of age.
