Board

Children Services is governed by an 11-member volunteer board. Ten members are appointed by the County Commissioners, and one is the chair of the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC). The Franklin County Children Services Board provides leadership, experience, commitment and expertise to assure that the agency is financially responsible and programmatically effective. The Board establishes policy for the agency and directly hires the executive director, who is responsible for agency operations.

The Franklin County Children Services Board meets at 855 W. Mound Street in the third-floor board room on the last Thursday of each month.
