Gale King

Gale King, senior vice president of property and casualty human resources for Nationwide Insurance, began her career with Nationwide in Gainesville, Florida in 1983, and has held positions of assistant regional personnel manager, human resources manager, human resources director, and administrative officer to the office of the president. Her current responsibilities include providing human resource services for more than 19,000 employees in home office and field locations throughout the United States. She earned her bachelor's degree in journalism and her master's degree in public administration from the University of Florida. She has also served as a board member of ADAMH.

"Having the opportunity to sit on the Children Services Board is a privilege," says King. "Our children are not only our hope for the future - they are our future. For many children, it is only through us that they have a voice or have a choice. I am committed to act as an advocate for the children of Franklin County. What happens to them and how our community thrives and grows is our legacy."
