“I’ve been familiar with the good work that Children Services’ does for quite a while. That’s why I was happy to accept the appointment to a board of an organization for which I have so much respect,” said Maggie Lewis.
Margaret “Maggie” G. Lewis, appointed to the Franklin County Children Services board in February 2008, brings with her a wealth of public policy experience.
She currently serves as associate director of the Ohio Commission on Dispute Resolution and directs the Commission’s state and local government programs. In this capacity, she provides mediation, facilitation, public engagement strategies and dispute systems design services to state and local governments, public agencies and elected officials.
Lewis, who received a Master of Arts degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University, looks forward to making a contribution to the board. “I am impressed with the depth, breadth and scope of the agency and its mission,” she stated. “I hope that I can bring skills and talents to help the agency accomplish its very worthwhile goals.”
