Necol Russell-Washington

Necol Russell-Washington is an attorney with NRW LAW Office practicing in the primary areas of business law and nonprofit organization law. Prior to entering into private practice, she served as a staff attorney with the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, Domestic Relations and Juvenile Court, and a corporate trust officer and administrator for a national bank. She also served as a sergeant in the United States Army Reserves. Necol earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from Franklin University, her juris doctorate from The Ohio State University College of Law, and an LL.M (Master of Law) in business and taxation from Capital University Law School. She is an adjunct professor for Wilberforce University, and has served on boards, such as Huckleberry House and the Africentric Personal Development Shop (APDS).

"My interest in Children Services stems from my prior exposure in the court system," she says. "I have worked directly for former Judge Yvette McGee Brown, as well as her successor, Judge Kim Browne. Furthermore, after joining private practice, I have advocated for individuals within the juvenile system, whose children were taken into temporary custody or who had served as foster parents."
