Accountant
We have an immediate opening for an accountant/financial analyst in our Fiscal Division. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and should have strong interpersonal and mathematical and analytical skills. Should be highly organized and have strong attention to detail. Must be proficient in Microsoft software. Employee will be responsible for: performing internal audits and fiscal reconciliations in regards to the examination process, documentation and rationale behind recorded figures to ensure that standard accounting procedures are being followed; audits ODJFS Title IV-E reimbursements; participation in special projects; prepare management reports and various regulatory reports. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required. Requires a minimum of one to two years’ directly related and progressively responsible experience. Competitive salary and excellent fringe benefits. Director Of Information Technology Department Needed
This position will serve as the Director of the Information Technology Department, supervising a staff of 15 employees who provide Help Desk support, networking & hardware solutions and application development for the agency’s 700+ staff. The technology environment is Windows-based and includes TCP/IP protocols and VOIP. The application development environment utilizes JAVA and an Oracle database. The Agency network is connected with both the Franklin County IT network and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services’ network, requiring the Director of the Department to work collaboratively with county and state information technology professionals.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree, master’s preferred, demonstrated success in IT management and experience in budget management. Must have commitment to meeting the information technology needs of child welfare professionals, excellent interpersonal skills and the talent to motivate an information technology team. Position requires the ability to present and explain IT issues to senior management and direct service staff. The ideal candidate will have experience managing vendor relationships and serving as change agent for major technology transitions. Qualified candidates will be committed to maintaining high professional standards for self and staff, to practicing cultural competence in service delivery and to maintaining high levels of satisfaction for IT customers. Program Evaluation Specialist
Supports quality improvement and quality assurance efforts for child protective services agency. Helps design/implement measurement systems that support and ascertain program and staff performance which produce the best results for children, and also to identify areas of noncompliance with federal/state/local/agency standards. Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of contract agency services in producing positive outcomes for children. Specific duties include: *Planning, conducting, reviewing, and managing research and program evaluation projects. *Communicating research and evaluation results to staff. *Supporting program staff in evaluating, organizing, combining and summarizing data from disparate sources to support program improvement efforts.
PREFERRED Qualifications: Master’s degree; background in quantitative/statistical analysis, policy, evaluation and research; several years exp. in related field; computer literacy and the ability to use word processing, databases, spreadsheet, and graphics software.
