Pride Block Party

FamJamAugust 2, 2014 • 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Columbus Commons (160 South High Street, Columbus, OH 43215)

You're invited to FCCS's FamJam @ Mayor Coleman's Neighborhood Pride Block Party, a free family enrichment festival sponsored by Franklin County Children Services and the city of Columbus! You and your family will have lots of opportunities for education and fun during this kid-friendly festival. More than 70 vendors and community partners will host resource booths, where families can find helpful information and enjoy fun activities.

Children Services staff will provide parenting tips, as well as information about adoption and volunteer opportunities. Attendees will also learn home and neighborhood safety tips from the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, Columbus Division of Police and the Columbus Division of Fire.

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets so that you can sit back, relax and listen to local acts performing on stage, where WBNS-10TV morning anchor Angela An will serve as emcee. There will also be face painting, bounce houses and more.

Dine on complimentary snacks while supplies last. Cool off with Whit's Frozen Custard and beverages provided by Dr. Pepper and Snapple. Parking is available at Columbus Commons garages for a small fee. The party goes on rain or shine.
