Newspapers Needed!!!
We can use your recycled full-size newspapers to line the bottoms of our cages. No ad circulars or small tabloid papers, please! Drop them off in the shelter lobby or in the blue bin by the entrance any time.

We are one of the largest shelters in the midwest with more than 100 dogs and puppies available for adoption daily. 
Visit us and you will find dogs of all ages, shapes, sizes and breeds, including many pure breeds, too!

All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated prior to adoption. Our website is updated daily so check back often.

All stray or lost dogs found within Franklin County are brought to the shelter to be reclaimed by their owners.

If you have lost a dog, please visit us in person immediately to file a lost dog report and to look for your dog.

After 2/2 late fees are in effect.

It's up to you to make sure your dog is legally licensed.
Buy it online, at the shelter or other convenient locations. If you're coming to buy a license, make sure to bring your rabies tag number or certificate with you!
