BROWNDOG DAY IS HERE!

February 2nd was Browndog Day at the Franklin County Dog Shelter.  Punxsatawney Phil and Buckeye Chuck have been doing a great job with their weather predictions over the years, but this year it was time for the dogs to decide! People gathered to see if Alum Creek Alex was able to see his Shadow Friday morning at the Franklin County Dog Shelter. They witnessed the latest in weather prediction as Alex determined whether spring is just around the corner, or if he has six more weeks of waiting for the spring thaw and a new home. Alex saw his Shadow, so warm weather and a new home are in his immediate future. Alex made his prediction last Friday, February 2nd, in the play yard of the shelter.
