Big Black Dogs Deserve A Second Look!
Did you know that big black dogs are usually the very last ones to be chosen at a shelter? They are frequently ignored even though they may be friendly and well behaved, while the lighter-colored dogs get adopted quickly. Most of these have been here so long they even have sponsors!

Whatever the reason, it's true these dogs generally wait three times longer to finally be adopted. Please take a second look at some of our longer term residents and give them the chance they deserve.
