Area Dog Parks

The original, and still the best! BarkPark is a private 10-acre dog park with a pond, agility equipment, concessions, dog wash and safety patrols. All dogs must be spayed or neutered and current on all vaccinations to join. The park is open on Saturdays spring through fall. It was also the first dog park established in the Columbus metropolitan area. It is located northwest of Dublin in Delaware County. All proceeds from the park are donated to animal welfare organizations. In the past eight year BarkPark has donated more than $950,000 to area animal welfare organizations!

Alum Creek Dog Park is a 4-acre public dog park located in the Alum Creek State Park adjacent to the reservoir with water access for dogs to swim, a dog wash station, drinking water for dogs and their owners, and restroom facilities. Bark 'Til Dark Dog Park is a private 6-acre dog park with a pond, agility equipment, dog wash, picnic area, etc. All dogs must be spayed or neutered and current on all vaccinations to join. Westerville Bark Park is a public 2-acre large dog park with areas for both large and small dogs located in Brookedge Park south of Schrock Rd, east of Cleveland Avenue and west of Westerville Rd. Entrance is securely gated, with a dog water fountain, hydrants, ADA access and activity stations.
Big Walnut Dog Park is the first off-leash public dog park in the city of Columbus. It is located on the east side of Columbus on Livingston Avenue and includes three fenced acres and a pond.
Pooch Playground Dog Park is a public 2.3 acre fenced park in Gahanna. It is open year 'round. Visit their website for more information.

Paws Park
is a private 7-acre dog park located south of Columbus near Canal Winchester. It features a pond and picnic areas. The park is open Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays most of the year, and on alternate Sundays only during the winter months. All dogs must be current on vaccinations to join.
Companion Club Dog Park is a private 11-acre dog park with a pond, agility course, self-serve dog wash, daycare facilities, boarding, and training also available. The park is open Wednesday - Sunday, year 'round and is located northwest of Columbus in Delaware County. All dogs must be spayed or neutered and current on all vaccinations to join.
