Child Support Awareness Day

The Franklin County Child Support Enforcement Agency will hold its 2011 Child Support Awareness Day event at St. Stephen's Community House, 1500 East 17th Avenue, Columbus OH 43219, on August 17, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

For this year's event, the Franklin County CSEA is collaborating with dozens of community partners, including the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas Domestic Relations and Juvenile Branch Magistrates, the Franklin County Court Mediation program, Franklin County Job and Family Services, Nationwide Children's Hospital, Putative Father Registry, the Columbus Urban League’s Father 2 Father program, Legal Aid, United Way, the Ohio Commission on Fatherhood, Franklin County Children Services, Columbus State Community College, First Link, the National Center for Urban Solutions, Action for Children, Impact Community Action and the Buckeye Ranch.

Our partners will offer brief presentations and have information about services and programs that are available.

Family Empowerment Day will offer assistance with child support issues for all parents and caretakers, agreed entries, access to visitation and mediation services, information on paternity testing, enrollment in the Putative Father Registry, employment services and Job Fair, positive parenting classes, community and social service referrals.

This event is free and open to the public. There will be free parking, free food refreshments.
