Child Support Awareness Day

The Franklin County Child Support Enforcement Agency will hold its 2009 Child Support Awareness Day event at the Columbus Urban League located at 788 Mt. Vernon Ave. Columbus, Ohio 43203, on August 12, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This year's theme is "It's more than just ABC's . . . partnering for our children's future."

For this year's event, Franklin County CSEA has collaborated with Franklin County Magistrates, Franklin County Court Mediators, Franklin County Job and Family Services, Nationwide Children's Hospital Education Institute, Job Leaders, Putative Father Registry, Father 2 Father, Chase Bank, Legal Aid, and First Link. Our partners will offer brief presentations and have information about services and programs that are available.

The Child Support Awareness Event will offer assistance with child support issues for all parents and caretakers, agreed entries, process for mediation for visitation, information on paternity testing, enrollment in the Putative Father Registry, employment services, positive parenting classes, community and social service referrals.

This event is free and open to the public. There will be free parking, free food and door prizes.
