SETS Info (Online)

AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE CONCERNING ON-LINE ACCOUNT INFORMATION

Many persons have asked why account information cannot be found on this Web site. Those posing this question would like to have the ability to review their payment histories, check out their current balances, view when checks are being received by Ohio's Child Support Payment Central, when checks are being mailed out, and generally monitor on a continuing basis their financial account information.

We agree that offering this type of enhanced capability on our Web site would be a valuable addition to our service delivery capability. While we fully understand concerns surrounding this issue, we regret to inform you that your Franklin County CSEA does not have the authority to implement this particular type of service delivery system and make it available to you over the Internet.

Implementation of a system such as the one described above would be driven by the statewide Support Enforcement Tracking (SETS) System and would be under the control of the State of Ohio. SETS is a proprietary system owned and operated by the State of Ohio and managed through the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. We have forwarded concerns on this issue to ODJFS.

Ohio does provide persons receiving child support services with a method for obtaining case account information. You can access this service via the SETS Voice Response Unit (VRU) by dialing 1-800-860-2555. This number will connect you to an automated system which operates around the clock, seven days a week, and which can be accessed over a touch-tone telephone. By providing your social security and PIN numbers, you may obtain payment information, check information and balances due as of the last completed business day. This service is available in both English and Spanish with full TDD capability (for those who are hearing impaired).

During regular business hours, the agency's client information specialists are also available to provide our customers with their current account information. The number to call to request this service is 614-462-3275.
