Franklin County Housing Market Assessment for Neighborhood Stabilization Program 2

The Franklin County Housing Market Assessment study was initiated in response to the Notice of Fund Availability (NOFA) issued by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the Neighborhood Stabilization Program 2 (NSP 2) under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, as a requirement for NSP 2 funding, to assist in deciding where and how NSP 2 funds should be spent within the county. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the market feasibility of housing development in the Census Tract geographies defined by Franklin County. The study, conducted by VWB Research, conforms to the standards adopted by the National Council of Affordable Housing Market Analysis (NCAHMA), including model content standards for market studies for affordable housing projects.
