This project began in August 2009.

Over a 3-month period beginning in August 2009, community residents, township officials and Franklin County planners will develop a streetscape improvement plan for the Cleveland Avenue/Northern Lights area in Clinton Township.  

Project boundaries

The streetscape plan covers Cleveland Avenue, from Piedmont Road to Case Road, in Clinton Township. The planning area includes the Northern Lights and Amos Shopping Centers.

Clinton-Mifflin Land Use Plan

This streetscape improvement planning project was recommended by the Clinton-Mifflin Land Use Plan to improve Cleveland Avenue and improve its long-term economic health.  Read more about the Clinton-Mifflin Land Use Plan

Upcoming public meeting

We are holding three public meetings: one to gather opinions on the current state of Cleveland Avenue and two to evaluate alternatives for improvements.
