Human Resources

The Franklin County Department of Human Resources is responsible for all human resources and training activities for the Board of Commissioners' agencies and departments. A wide variety of employment opportunities are available for review in the Department of Human Resources and on the department's Internet website. Employment applications and copies of job announcements may be obtained at the front reception desk or downloaded from the website. Training and development staff develop and present a wide variety of training classes to fill the growing needs of Franklin County employees. Periodic training calendars, complete with class schedules and descriptions, are created and distributed to county agencies so employees may take advantage of the Board of Commissioners' comprehensive training program.

Purpose
The purpose of the Human Resources Department is to provide quality employment services, effective training, technical human resources assistance, and innovative group insurance benefit programs for the Franklin County Board of Commissioners' and other designated agencies so they can continue efficient agency operations.
