Project Description:

The goal of Street Smart is to provide current and up-to-date information on trends, terminology, paraphernalia and physiological effects to individuals who deal with today's youth on a daily basis. Funding for this initiative began in July 2002 and has been on-going due to the extremely positive feedback received by school administrators, parents, DARE Officers and community service providers and the continued number of requests for presentation received by the Sheriffs Office.

Since program inception, Street Smarts has provided training to over 5,000 participants.
