The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) is offering free homeownership education for those who are seeking to purchase a home.

Prospective homebuyers will learn about budgets, mortgages, credit and home inspections at three homeownership classes held May 2, 9, and 16 from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. The certificate received after attending all three classes can be used to help qualify for area downpayment assistance programs. Receipt of a certificate also qualifies income eligible buyers to purchase newly renovated homes available through the Franklin County Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP). Homes available through this program may be viewed at www.comehomeco.org. More homes will be available soon.

All sessions are held at the MORPC office at 111 Liberty Street, Suite 100 in Columbus, Ohio. Free parking is available.
