The Franklin County Sanitary Engineer is issuing a water boil advisory for residents of Lincoln Village South on Columbus' Westside. This advisory has been issued in response to a waterline break late this morning near Doctor's West Hospital in the vicinity of Norton Road and West Broad Street.

The affected residences and businesses are bounded on the North by West Broad Street, on the South by Sullivant Avenue, on the East by Emmit/Mix Avenues and on the West by Postle Boulevard.

Personnel from the Franklin County Sanitary Engineer's Office are currently on scene assessing the extent of the waterline break and initiating work to effect its repair. Water to the affected areas has been shut off. Media updates will be provided by the Communications Department of the Office of the Franklin County Board of Commissioners. An estimate of how long residents in the affected area can expect to be without water will follow.
