“We are happy to learn that DSCC is not on the BRAC closure list and that over 6,000 jobs were saved and 1,758 added. The “ripple effect” of the public and private revenue generated by the DSCC affects tens of thousands of lives here. This shows what our region can do with cooperation and teamwork and is certainly a great payoff for the $100,000 invested by Franklin County in Team DSCC efforts.
“Our team was able to show the value and potential of sites in our area today as well as for future expansion. We look forward to building on this model to continue to protect and create jobs and economic opportunity for Franklin County and wish to commend the hard work done by the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, the cities of Columbus and Whitehall, the State of Ohio, and members of our Congressional delegation.”
