WHAT:
Columbus Sister Cities International 15th Annual Meeting

In February 2011, a delegation from Franklin County, Columbus Sister Cities International, Inc., the city of Columbus, Columbus 2020!, The Ohio State University along with many other partners participated in a Columbus Region Business Development Mission to India. Friday's Annual meeting will provide an update from that trip and will feature keynote remarks from Franklin County Commissioner John O'Grady and Columbus Mayor Michael B. Coleman.

The sister city relationship between Columbus and Ahmedabad was finalized in 2008, making Columbus Ahmedabad's first sister city. The relationship focuses on opportunity for exchanges in economic development, education and arts and culture. The support of central Ohio's large Indian population is vital to the success of this young relationship.
