(Franklin County) Franklin County Board President Mary Jo Kilroy along with Commissioner Dewey R. Stokes will join Grove City officials Thursday to break ground for Discovery Frontier, a playground designed for all Franklin County children, regardless of disability, and The Century Village at Fryer Park Log Cabin Dedication. Century Village is an initiative of the Southwest Franklin County Historical Society and is a one-room school house on site with a log cabin to begin construction.
These groundbreaking ceremonies mark the community’s latest measure to create a safe and enjoyable environment for parks, open spaces and high-quality cost effective programs for all residents to enjoy. Franklin County Commissioners remain committed to ensuring the entire county is accessible and maneuverable for all residents, and they are proud to be joining Grove City in its latest endeavor. The Board is continuously planning for the growth and diversity of current and future residents in our communities, said Board of Commissioners President Mary Jo Kilroy.
