eNotice Registration for Attorneys
On January 2, 2008, the Probate Court commenced the eNotice system which provides the option for attorneys to receive due date notification via e-mail for inventories, accounts, certificates of notice of probate of will, annual guardian’s reports, wrongful death and minor settlement reports of distribution and other notices for estates, guardianships and trusts which otherwise are sent in hard copy format. The eNotice system will send an email to the attorney approximately 30 days before the due date setting forth the filing requirement. Once sent, an electronic copy of the notice will automatically be docketed to the case management system then electronically sent as an image to the document management system. The attorney will efficiently receive notices, mail and docket costs will be reduced, and the Court will benefit in the electronic docketing and imaging of the notices with less involvement from staff.
