Downtown Construction

Construction activity associated with the River South Roadway Improvements project will affect traffic patterns near the Franklin County Government Center tentatively starting August 24. Northbound traffic on Front Street will be restricted to two lanes between Mound Street and Rich Street. See below for details.

Mound Street Construction

Effective March 2nd, Mound Street will become a one-way, one-lane westbound street between High and Front Streets.

Mound Street construction is expected to require five or six months. When the project is complete, Mound Street will again be a two-way, east and westbound thoroughfare.

Parking is currently limited due to the construction.

Parking Options:

Parking garages fill early and are accessible from:

Front St., between Fulton Ave & Mound St.
Fulton Ave., between S. 3rd St. & High St.
Mound St., between S. 3rd St. & High St.
Main St., between S. 3rd S. & High St.

Metered parking and surface lots are available in the surrounding area.

COTA bus stops are available on High Street in front of the Courthouse complex.

You may want to consider having someone bring you down who can come back and pick you up.
