Public invited to live presentations tentatively scheduled for February

The Franklin County Recorder’s Office issued a request for proposal (RFP) to replace the recording software system currently in use. The bids were opened on schedule at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. The Recorder’s bid team is in the process of evaluating the proposals and selecting the finalists. The finalists will be invited to make a live presentation. In order to select the best solution for our office and its customers, we are inviting members of the public to the live presentations.
The presentations are tentatively scheduled for February 9, 10, and 11 from 11am until 1pm each day. The presentations will take place in the Data Center Auditorium located at 373 South High Street, 9th Floor, Columbus, OH 43215.

We ask that you register so that you can be notified of any updates and so that we can have an accurate count for the presentations. Seating is limited, so please register early.
We ask that if you attend one presentation that you attend all presentations; otherwise, you will not be able to provide feedback about all of the presentations.
Your input into this processis critical to ensure that when we upgrade our records management software that it serves all our needs. Together, we will usher the Franklin County Recorder's office into th 21st century.
County Recorder Announces New Program For Franklin County's Veterans

Recorder Brown has initiated a new program that provides Franklin County's military veterans with a new ID card when they record their DD214 (discharge forms) in the Franklin County Recorder's Office. Military veterans will now be able to use the card to show proof of military service, obtain veterans discounts at participating retail and commercial businesses, and present proof of documentation for veterans’ benefits (i.e. home loans, student loans, health services, etc.). The cost for the ID card is $1, and arrangements will be made for veterans needing financial assistance. For additional information, please click here
