County Recorder Announces New ID Program For Franklin County’s Veterans

Franklin County Recorder Terry J. Brown has announced a new program geared toward providing any military veteran that resides in Franklin County who records, or has recorded, their discharge documents (DD214 papers) in the Franklin County Recorder’s Office. Recorder Brown will host the “Veteran ID Program Kick-Off” next week in West Hall at the Veterans Memorial, located at 300 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43215. The event will take place on Monday, May 20th, from 8AM-5PM, and on Tuesday, May 21st, from 8AM-7PM. Free parking will be available. Recorder Brown is inviting Franklin County’s veterans to come record their discharge documents and/or get a new ID card during next week’s event. The cost for ID cards is $1.00 and arrangements will be made for those veterans who may need financial assistance to purchase an ID card. ID cards will be available in the Franklin County Recorder’s Office, beginning Wednesday, May 22nd. The Franklin County Recorder’s Office is in the Franklin County Government Center located at 373 S. Updated Electronic Living Will Packet Now Available

Our website now features a fillable PDF version of the living will packet. The most recent version of the living will packet can still be found in the Living Will Information section on our homepage. Once you have filled out the sections of the packet that do not require a signature (either your own or that of a witness), you can print the packet in its entirety to both sign and record it in our office.
