Whether Gahanna Anna sees her shadow or not, Gahanna residents should have plenty of “spring” in their step. According to Mayor Rebecca Stinchcomb, Gahanna has met the economic challenges of 2005. “We have utilized innovative and successful approaches towards the development and redevelopment of two important sites”, said Strichcomb.

  • Creekside Olde Gahanna Revitalization – 200,000 square foot mixed use project featuring
    underground public parking facility.
  • Bedford I Landfill – industrial site remediation project received $3 million Clean Ohio fund
    Grant Award.

"We have been pleased to work with Mayor Stinchcomb and her development team on pioneering projects like the development of the Bedford Landfill Site”, said Treasurer Richard Cordray. “They have shown the kind of courage and progressive leadership Ohio communities need and deserve if they are to pull out of the economic slump that has plagued our state for a decade.”

The 9th annual event is scheduled for Thursday, February 2 at 7:30 AM at New Central Park, 870 Claycraft Road, the site of the old Bedford Landfill. Mr. Kevin Walker, President COO of AEP Ohio will serve as keynote speaker, while Franklin County Treasurer Edward Leonard and Columbus Regional Chamber VP Dr. Bill Lafayette will give their own perspectives on the economic forecast.

At the breakfast, Architects Bird and Houk will unveil their rendering of the office complexes, golf course and golf training academy planned for the New Central Park.
