| Member of the Commission: Willie L. Davis serves as a member of the Franklin County Veterans Service Commission representing the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1965 to 1969. While serving his country he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/2*, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60, Combat Action Ribbon, and Presidential Unit Citation He currently holds memberships with the following organizations: DAV Executive Committee, VFW 6065 serving as Quartermaster, American Legion 532, Marine Corp League. Commissioner Davis grew up in Columbus, Ohio and has been a resident of Franklin County since 1956. Commissioner Davis is retired and served as a Police Officer for the City of Granview for 30 years. Commissioner Davis was appointed in 2009 and his term will expire in 2012. |
