Franklin County DD is a public agency that provides support and advocacy to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Franklin County. From infancy to the school years, employment and beyond, we serve people and their families across the lifespan.
Since our creation in 1967, Franklin County DD has been dedicated to making sure that people with developmental disabilities can live, learn, work and play in a community that is inclusive and accessible.
Services are available to county residents and eligibility determinations are completed by our Intake Department.

Dot Yeager, Superintendent/CEO
Dot Yeager joined Franklin County DD in 2002 as chief business officer and began serving as superintendent in 2024. She oversees a workforce of nearly 700 employees -- teachers, case managers, bus drivers and other administrative staff -- serving more than 13,000 people each day.
