Board of Commissioners' Public Meetings

The Board of Commissioners meets in General Session each Tuesday at 9:00 A.M. in the Commissioners' Hearing Room on the 1st Floor of The Michael J. Dorrian Building (369 South High Street). These meetings are open to the public. It is during this meeting that the board takes action on resolutions up for consideration.

If you would like to address the Board in support of or in opposition to a resolution under consideration, please submit a Public Comment Request Form to the Clerk to the Board before the start of the meeting.

Each General Session is broadcast on the City of Columbus' Government Television Channel (CTV). The channel can be seen on channel 3 on Spectrum and WOW, and on channel 99 on AT&T U-Verse.

General Sessions are aired each Thursday at 8:00 p.m., Friday at 10 a.m., Saturday at 12:30 p.m., and Monday at 12 noon. Visit the CTV website for a complete programming schedule.

Past Meetings

The Board of Commissioners meets for Briefing each Thursday at 9:00 A.M. on the 26th Floor of the Franklin County Office Tower (373 South High Street). These meetings are open to the public. It is during this meeting that the Board is briefed proposed resolutions for consideration at the next General Session.

If you would like to address the Board, please submit a Public Comment Request Form to the Clerk of the Board in person or online before the start of the meeting.

Past Meetings

The Board of Commissioners hold Administrative Sessions to address issues of importance that are not specific to resolution items. Topics include community health, resident needs, coordination of efforts amongst other county elected officials, or other matters that are relevant and directly impact the residents of Franklin County.
