Connect, Protect, Reassess--Your Franklin County Auditor's Office handles a wide variety of important responsibilities that affect all of Franklin County's residents and businesses.

 

Connect: The office administers programs to connect older adults, veterans, and people with disabilities with tax relief and engages with the community at a variety of community events. 

Protect: As Chief Fiscal Officer, the office safeguards county funds with innovative ideas and initiatives and as Official Sealer, the office protects consumers by ensuring they get what they pay for at gas pumps and retail scanners. 

Reassess: The Auditor’s Office is responsible for assessing all properties in Franklin County ensuring a fair, equitable value for every property owner as well as administering programs to connect older adults, veterans and people with disabilities with tax relief. 

 

Meet the Franklin County Auditor

Michael Stinziano
Photo of Auditor Michael Stinziano smiling.Auditor Michael Stinziano holds a BA from the University of Richmond and a MPA from George Washington University. He received his JD from The OSU Moritz College of Law. Previously, Michael served as the Director of the Franklin County Board of Elections, represented Columbus in the Ohio General Assembly, and served as a member of Columbus City Council. He teaches at Capital University Law School.
