The Franklin County Clerk of Courts’ Office consists of five divisions: Auto Title, Legal, Fiscal Services, Information Technology, and Administration. Four of those divisions are in seven different offices in the Franklin County Courthouse complex. The fifth, Auto Title, is in four conveniently located branch offices throughout Franklin County. Each division is important to the Franklin County Clerk of Courts’ two major functions: management of court documents and issuance of auto titles.

Meet the Franklin County Clerk of Courts
The Honorable Maryellen O’Shaughnessy
Maryellen O’Shaughnessy is committed to delivering accurate, courteous, and timely service through the independent management of records for the Court of Common Pleas and the 10th District Court of Appeals, as well as overseeing the issuance of auto titles. She holds a degree in Journalism from The Ohio State University and has previously served on Columbus City Council. Clerk O’Shaughnessy began her tenure as Franklin County Clerk of Courts in January 2009 and is currently serving in her fifth four-year term.
