Serving Franklin County Veterans and their families. We provide temporary financial assistance, medical transportation, and help accessing benefits from Veterans Administration (VA) to include Service-Connected Disability Claims, Pensions, and Survivor Benefits.
Financial assistance eligibility includes the Veteran having a discharge under honorable conditions and be a current resident of Franklin County for at least 90 days. Temporary Financial Assistance from the Franklin County Veterans Service Commission is available to eligible applicants who demonstrate an immediate, short-term need. Financial assistance is not an entitlement and is intended as a bridge to self-sufficiency and personal responsibility.
You do no need to be a Franklin County resident to receive help with VA claims.

Meet the Executive Director
Buck Bramlish, COL (Ret) United States Army
Director Bramlish assumed the role of Executive Director of the Franklin County Veterans Service Commission (FCVSC) in February 2016. Buck served 34 years in the Ohio Army National Guard (OHARNG), enlisting in 1982, promoted to Staff Sergeant in 1986, commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in 1989, promoted to Colonel in 2011 and retired in 2016 as the Director of Army Operations for the OHARNG. His military career culminated with a 2015-2016 deployment to Iraq.
Buck graduated from Bowling Green State University, and earned master's degrees from Trident University and The Army War College. He is married to Debbie and has two children, Reagan and Jake.
