Mail Services helps Franklin County offices send and receive mail. We handle both mail between county offices and mail that goes to the USPS.

We make sure mail:

  • Gets where it needs to go quickly
  • Stays private
  • Costs less money

We run our program efficiently and save the county money. All mail we process gets to the Post Office within 24 hours. Using our Mail Room helps county offices save money in three ways:

  1. We get special discounts on sending mail
  2. Offices don't need to buy their own stamps or postage machines
  3. Offices don't need to hire people to take mail to the Post Office

Each year, we handle over two million pieces of mail. In 2024, we saved the county more than $135,000 by sorting mail before sending it and $106,000 by processing special certified mail right here in our office.
