Building a supportive network is critical for both new entrepreneurs and growing businesses. A supportive network and a helpful mentor can help you navigate and overcome the challenges of entrepreneurship, grow your business, and improve your business management skills. Becoming an active part of the entrepreneurial community can also help you spread the word about who you are and what your business has to offer.

Geographic Chambers, Associations, Boards of Trade
Traditional chambers of commerce, business associations, and boards of trade are voluntary associations or membership organizations that promote and protect the interests of the business community in a geographic area. These organizations may offer members or local businesses a variety of services, including networking events, educational opportunities, member discounts, marketing support, and access to trade publications.

Mentorship Opportunities
Finding a business mentor is one way to deal with the challenges of being a new business owner.
