Franklin County Launches Redesigned, User-Friendly Website

Columbus, OH — Franklin County is proud to announce the launch of its newly redesigned website, franklincountyohio.gov, which went live on May 14, 2025. The new site features a modern design, improved navigation, and full mobile compatibility—making it easier than ever for residents, businesses, and visitors to access county services and connect with local government.

“This new website reflects our commitment to putting the community first,” said Board President, Commissioner Erica C. Crawley. “We’ve made it easier to pay property taxes, apply for permits, and apply for vital programs like food assistance, child care, services for seniors, and so much more.”

The redesigned website brings together all 14 Board of Commissioners agencies into a single, user-friendly platform. It includes simplified navigation, an improved search function, and easy-to-use online forms to streamline tasks and reduce the need for paperwork. Whether accessed on a phone, tablet, or computer, the site provides a smoother and more responsive experience.

“We know that residents expect fast, reliable access to government services, especially online,” stated, Commissioner John O’Grady. “This new site makes that access more efficient and intuitive for everyone in Franklin County.”

The redesign process began in September 2023 and included months of research, inter-agency collaboration, and valuable input from community members. Franklin County will continue to gather public feedback to refine and improve the site over time. Residents are encouraged to explore the new platform and share their thoughts through the feedback forms available at franklincountyohio.gov or by visiting the “Contact Us” page.

“This upgrade isn’t just about technology—it’s about transparency, equity, and responsiveness,” said Commissioner Kevin L. Boyce. “We’re investing in tools that bring government closer to the people it serves.”

The website address remains the same, and all existing links will redirect seamlessly to the updated pages to ensure a smooth transition.
