Mission Pawsible is a campaign designed to connect seniors with shelter dogs, fostering meaningful companionship and improving the well-being of both. Recognizing the special bond that can form between seniors and rescue pets, the initiative aims to create a win-win situation by pairing dogs in need of loving homes with seniors seeking companionship and affection. The Block Pawty celebrates this mission, offering the community an opportunity to support a cause that benefits both pets and people.
"We are pleased to share that our Mission Pawsible initiative, supporting seniors and their beloved pets, is making great progress,” said Kaye Persinger, Director of the Franklin County Dog Shelter. "This initiative represents our commitment to strengthening the bond between people and pets, ensuring that everyone, especially our seniors, can enjoy the comfort and companionship that pets provide."
