Franklin County Board of Commissioners

The Franklin County Board of Commissioners approved a three-year, $1.4 million contract to capture updated panoramic street-level images of properties across the county.

The images, taken by Cyclomedia Technology through its partner IT Federal Sales, cover up to 7,955 miles of public roadways and alleyways. Photo capture will begin this spring, with individual property cutouts delivered by summer. Online hosting of the panoramic imagery will continue through 2029.

Matt Shade, GIS Director for Franklin County Auditor Michael Stinziano, told commissioners the images are essential for accurately appraising residential and commercial property. The county's most recent street-level photo update was in late 2022.

IT Federal Sales is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business as defined by the General Services Administration. Cyclomedia first captured street-level images in Franklin County in 2017.
