For the first time in its history, the Franklin County Prosecutor's Office has published an annual report, and Prosecutor Shayla Favor brought it to the Board of Commissioners herself.
Favor appeared at the June 16, 2026 General Session on a point of personal privilege extended by Board President John O'Grady to announce the release of the office's 2025 Annual Report. She described it as a transparency tool, one designed to show Franklin County residents a fuller picture of what the Prosecutor's Office does beyond criminal prosecutions.
The office's work, she said, extends into victim support, consumer protection, civil legal action, county agency advisement, and community engagement. The report includes case data, highlights and accomplishments from across the office's divisions, a look at community engagement efforts, and recognition of staff. Favor said the goal is to ensure residents understand how the office serves them every day.
Copies were available at the session. The report is also published on the Prosecutor's Office website under the "What We Do" tab.
