Get ready to share some love this Valentine’s season!

 

Share the love this Valentine’s season with a feel good morning at our Adoption Center on Saturday, February 7th. This free, family friendly event invites community members of all ages to come together in support of our shelter dogs.

Guests are welcome to decorate pre made dog cookies, create Valentine’s themed crafts and messages, and help ensure every dog feels extra love and care. Decorated treats can be hand delivered to a shelter pup of your choice, and Valentine’s crafts will be displayed throughout the shelter to brighten the dogs’ spaces as they wait for homes.

A sensory friendly time will be offered from 9:30am to 10:00am.

During this window, the event will focus on cookie decorating only, with smaller groups, a quieter environment, and no kennel visits or cookie hand delivery.

What to expect:

Dog Treat Decorating:
We will have pre-made dog cookies, icing, and decorative toppings all set up in our community room ready for you. Decorate a treat (or several) and then hand-deliver it to a shelter pup of your choice!

Valentine’s Day Crafts:
Design your own Valentine’s craft or message for our dogs and then hang these around the shelter to help brighten their spaces while they wait for homes.

Meet Our Adoptable Dogs:
Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet our adoptable dogs and learn more about adoption.
