Join Us for Soul Talks "Beyond the Paycheck: Work, Wealth & Wellness"

Whether navigating new access to opportunity or carrying the chronic stress of job insecurity, stagnant wages, or unemployment, individuals and families often bear unseen emotional, psychological, and relational burdens tied to work and money.

This conversation will unpack how economic pressure and mobility alike reshape identity, family dynamics, and expectations; why financial stability does not always bring peace of mind; and how prolonged financial strain can impact confidence, decision-making, and well-being. Soul Talks will also examine how workforce systems can better support the whole person—recognizing both aspiration and exhaustion.

You don't have to be in crisis to feel the weight of it.

When: Thursday, April 2 | 5:30 -- 8:00 PM

Where: The Harmony Project Theatre, 4411 Tamarack Blvd, Columbus, OH 43229

Cost: Free

What is Soul Talks? Soul Talks is a community conversation series hosted by Commissioner Boyce and the Franklin County Board of Commissioners. Launched in November 2024, the series creates an honest space for residents, leaders, and practitioners to talk openly about mental health, identity, and lived experience. Each session connects people to real resources and practices for navigating life's challenges.

About This Session Soul Talks "Beyond the Paycheck: Work, Wealth & Wellness" is a community conversation that names what most spaces won't. Clinicians, workforce leaders, and community practitioners will sit with residents for an honest dialogue about financial pressure, identity, and mental well-being.

This is not a panel to watch. It is a conversation to be part of.

Who Should Attend Anyone who has felt the gap between ambition and access. Anyone managing the mental load that comes with financial uncertainty. Anyone who wants to think more clearly about work, money, and well-being.
