What is Reentry

A red-suited figure holds a large key, running towards a red door, while several blue-suited figures chase behind in a cityscape.

What is Reentry?

Reentry, the comprehensive process of integrating formerly incarcerated individuals back into society after a period of incarceration.

What is our goal?

To collaborate with Franklin County Reentry Community Partners to help facilitate successful reintegration into the community, promote self-sufficiency, and remove barriers to success.

Why Our Work Is Important

  • Successful reentry programming enhances public safety and helping to reduce recidivism.
  • Ohio releases more than 28,000 offenders each year.
  • Franklin county has the third highest population of ex-offenders being released from incarceration in the state.
