Continuing education (CE) training is mandatory for CASA volunteers. Volunteers need to keep improving their skills while serving as Guardians ad Litem (GALs). GALs must finish 12 hours of CE training each calendar year (January to December). NOTE: GALs may only receive 6 HOURS CE from books/podcasts/recordings per year.
CASA Volunteers can fulfill their yearly CE requirements in just two days by participating in the Celebrate Kids! Ohio CASA Conference held in mid to late September.
