Our Mission

The Franklin County Office of Management & Budget promotes fiscal accountability and formulates well-developed budgets for the Board of Commissioners which facilitates informed decisions in support of high quality services for County residents.

About Us

The Franklin County Office of Management & Budget (OMB) provides fiscal and management consultant services to county leadership to assist them in making informed financial and strategic decisions. OMB:

  • Assists county administration in developing an annual budget that aligns with the County's core principles
  • Provides budget preparation guidance to county agencies, courts, and boards
  • Monitors the implementation of agency budgets
  • Prepares resolutions for amendments to the approved budget
  • Supports the Human Services Levy Review Committee in conducting financial and programmatic reviews of levy requests
