The Board of Commissioners voted unanimously on June 2, 2026, to accept two Residential Substance Abuse Treatment grants totaling $225,000 from the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services, continuing services for residents of Franklin County's correctional centers who face the highest risks for opioid relapse and reincarceration.
Resolution 0362-26 covers $37,532 in FY 2022 grant funding directed to the Kline Foundation for the Male Pathways program, which provides case management, cognitive behavioral treatment, harm reduction support, and assistance securing housing and identification documents for men identified as high-risk for opioid use disorder and recidivism.
Resolution 0363-26 covers $187,468 in FY 2023 grant funding that supports both Kline Foundation's Male Pathways and Cornerstone Promise's Female Pathways program. Female Pathways provides safe and secure transitional and residential substance abuse treatment housing for justice-involved women. The FY 2023 funding also supports a peer support position within the Female Pathways program.
Both grants run through September 30, 2026, and support Goal 9 of the Rise Together Blueprint.
